Brad is an architectural designer with a diverse background in construction and fabrication. He spends equal time in the office and the workshop navigating the design process by means of machinery, pen and paper. As a designer, Brad has several years of experience working for an award-winning firm in Bridgehampton, New York. His interest to become more active in the field later guided him into construction where he managed high-end residential projects in Seattle and Gig Harbor, Washington.
As a native Michigander, Brad previously worked on several residential and commercial design/build collaborations around Metro Detroit. Brad has a literal hands-on approach to design resulting from years of fabrication and building experience. His interest in a ‘design through making’ methodology hones his attention to detail and craft.
Brad holds three degrees from the University of Michigan: Bachelor of Science in Architecture, Master of Architecture, and Master of Science in Design Research.
